Making 15.000 + people care about cybersecurity

A year-long, 360° awareness campaign for a major international insurer. Strategy, concept, content and community.

The challenge A large international insurer needed its 15,000+ employees worldwide to genuinely care about cybersecurity, not just click through another mandatory module. Awareness that changes behaviour can't be imposed top-down. It has to be built with people, not bolted onto a compliance checklist.

What I did I helped develop and roll out a full 360° awareness campaign over the course of a year. That meant strategy, concept and content across multiple formats: a company-wide Phishing Olympics, a digital escape room, and an ambassador programme. Rather than pushing messages down, we built it in co-creation, activating employees and turning them into ambassadors for something they believed in.

The result A campaign that reached 40% of the organisation and turned a compliance obligation into something people actually engaged with. The real win wasn't the tools, it was the shift: from "have to" to "want to".
